Mr. Tiemessen has been with our firm since January 2021. She mainly handles community criminal cases; she assists suspects who are suspected of moral, drug and/or violent crimes.

Mr. Tiemessen completed the Victim Cases specialization and since then also assists victims in (serious) violence and vice cases. She assists victims in this path from the moment they report the crime up to and including the hearing, where they can submit a claim for compensation (also on the basis of financed legal aid).

She is a member of the NVJSA (Dutch Association of Young Criminal Lawyers).

Mr. Tiemessen has registered the following main specializations in the register of areas of law of the Netherlands Bar Association:

• Criminal Law
• Victim Law

Pursuant to this registration, she is required to obtain ten training points in each registered main area of law each calendar year according to the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
